Georgia, Georgia Tech, USC, UNC, Duke, Virginia, DC, Georgetown

Got to Georgia kinda late. Got a tour and ate dinner with one of the brothers. Snapped this beauty in front of the Georgia football stadium.
Got to see Mike McGrath's best friend from Chicago which was cool. Got up very early and made the drive to Virginia. Along the way we stopped at a bunch of schools.

Drove by Georgia Tech just to see the house. Pretty cool. Mark's favorite so far. They have a pool and basketball court in the back yard.

Then we saw Augusta National Golf Club, home of the Masters. Very private so all we saw was some fences and this sign:

We then went to South Carolina. I was supposed to meet up with my friend from high school but we decided to not stay the night and try and make up time by going straight to Virginia. Checked out campus for a little bit. Cool stadium.

We then went to North Carolina. My favorite school growing up because of their basketball history. As usual we worked our magic and got a little private tour of the stadium. They told us this guy Miguel Jórden played here or something? Not too sure who they were talking about.

We also went to Duke, but as a UNC fan I refuse to post any pictures of the campus or Cameron Indoor. JK Cameron was locked up tight and couldn't get in. Didn't look like a stadium at all though.

The car is getting very boring. We usually only stop for gas/food/shits but we are now stopping for football breaks. You can see my stud athlete abilities in the picture below:

Finally made it to Virginia. Theta Chi house got renovated last year so it is very new. Cool guys. Showered for the first time in a while which was nice. My feet needed it.

Tuesday
Drove to DC did the touristy things. Washington Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, etc. Then checked out the Arlington National Cemetery and the tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Again, cool history there.

We then went to Howard University where Taylor's friends go to school. We stuck out like a sore thumb. But it was cool to get #cultured. John and Mark bought shirts. John buys one shirt from all these sick schools, and it's from Howard. Shout out to Bryant and Cymone.

Staying the night at my friend from high school's house at Georgetown. Basketball co-captains. Glory days.

Really ready to get back to campus now....

Notes:
- The trolling in the car is at a whole new level. We don't know who is trolling and who is serious. It's gotten to the point where the guy giving directions will troll and say take a left. The driver takes a left, and then the directions guy goes "seriously? i was trolling, should have taken a right". Pretty annoying.
- John has said like 5 words since Georgia. But he did say his first 2 jokes of the trip today. And there were vids.
- Harry finally washed his feet, so hopefully the smell gets a little better
- Mark was on his hardcore shirt game today. Bought two shirts. We got the same one from UNC. I saw it first but he's claiming he did. Shenanigans.
- A new Theta Chi committee has been formed. Brothers will be informed of it at the first chapter.
- Hoop Dreams is a thing.

Shoutouts:
- Matt Flanagan: Sorry we couldn't meet up. Lets plan a game day soon
- Biddies: thanks again for the call. (I swear this kid calls us every day just to get in the blog)
- Leo Sheehan: thanks for tagging my shit at the house. (if you dont tag stuff, people are savages and take it all).
- Drake: you've been our soundtrack for most of the trip. Unless John's on the 1s and 2s.

Auburn

Left Bama in the morning. Got free Jimmy Johns because we ordered it late night and it never came so free lunch. Clutch. We got to Auburn and the house was amazing. They were day drinking down a slip and slide at 2pm. Its a TFM.

Kappa Alpha built a house across the street and it was the biggest house on campus. So Theta Chi got the same builder and said we want our house exactly one square foot bigger. So this is now the biggest house on campus. Win. So-thetachi. As you can see in the third pic, they have a "barn" behind their house. Where they hold all their parties and mixers. We just happened to on a day where they were having a band party. It was a cover band that played all the biggest rap songs. So sick. I dont think I can post videos on here, but you'll see them soon enough. It was awesome. We turnt up Auburn.

This was not a party put on by the school. This was IN Theta Chis backyard. Unreal.

Brother gave me a cool koozie:

Everythings pretty backwards down here. Shit wouldn't fly in Boston. Also the style is very different. Cant tell if the north is ahead or behind the times.

Got a good nights sleep. Checked out campus in the morning where we saw Toomer's Corner. Which are the famous trees that were poisoned by a Bama fan in April.  Cool and sad thing to see. Lots of school pride.

Now on the road to Georgia. Finally back in the best time zone in the country. Eastern.

We left our best friend the 10 east. We were literally on that road from California to Alabama. Great times on that road. We'll miss you bud.

Oh p.s. heres a pic from bamas theta chi that I forgot to add in yesterdays blog:

Shoutouts:
Mike Galello - thanks for the tweet seeing how things are going. Luh you
Kathy Huntington - thanks for checking in on your little baby boy. He's still alive. Keep doing your thing Kath.

Notes:
- New troll hand symbol. Its now a thing. We shall teach those who are worthy
- Mark loves to park in the smallest spots ever. There will be 5 empty spots in a row and he'll park in the one spot in between two cars. We don't understand.
- Still trying to get on best vines. Taylor's recent attempts have fallen short.
- car is really starting to smell. Mostly due to wet towels and Harry's feet.
- Versace? Versace. Versace? Versace. Versace? Versace.

*our trip up the east coast might divert from the original plan. Stay tuned.

Bama

Bama was the only school we didnt have a contact at. So we didnt know what was going to happen going in. We knock on the door and there is already a party going on. We met a few brothers and saw the house. Little did we know, this party was a pregame for an all-greek concert with Dispatch and Wiz Khalifa. So sick. You need a wristband to get in so me and Mark walked around and asked people for theirs. Success. Taylor and John got their after us and just stole the bands. Easy money. Wiz was awesome live, contrary to rumors I have heard.

Mark picked back up with his shirt collection with a Roll Tide shirt. He is happy again.

Made our way to Auburn. House is amazing. Band party tonight. Will post tomorrow with pictures.

Houston, LSU, New Orleans

Before leaving Texas we stopped in Houston at a place called Lankford Cafe. Little hole in the wall place that was featured on Food networks diners drive-ins and dives. Maybe the best burger I have ever had. Huge juicy patty with cheddar cheese, bacon, mac and cheese, jalepenos, and fried egg. (Obviously I had one with no egg). John got a salad. Who does that? We go out of our way to possibly the best burger place in the country and john gets a tossed salad with grilled chicken on top. Maybe he likes tossing salads. I dont know. His arteries are going to be less clogged than the rest of ours but #YOLO. Taylors mom told us too clean them out with booze on Bourbon street so we did just that.

We then took off for Lousiana. Check Taylors vines, obviously we were jamming out to Louisiana Bayou by DMB while going through. I have never seen anything like this bayou. We probably drove an hour through the biggest swamp I have ever seen. Definitely google it if you don't know what it is. So crazy.

LSU was pretty cool. Got a tour of the campus. The football and basketball stadium's were crazy. Tried to steal Mike VI the LSU Tiger but he didn't look too happy. Shaq has a statue behind the basketball stadium. Pretty cool. He's huge.

We made a late night trip to New Orleans and stayed at a hotel. Went out and walked around Bourbon Street. Some of the strangest people I have ever seen. Weirdest combination of weird old drunk white people, college kids, and homeless people. Everyones begging you for money. We saw Spirits on Bourbon which was on Bar Rescue last year which is one of my favorite shows. Pretty cool. Got a hand grenade which is a very famous drink. Taylor was affected a lot quicker than the rest of us. Taylor flashed some girls and got beads thrown on him.

Great quote from last night:
Taylor: "what time does Bourbon street close?"
Local store owner: "it never closes. Well maybe a hurricane will shut it down for a little bit, but it never closes"

Walked around French Quarter this morning. Very cool history. Got lunch at another famous Tv place called Johnny's Po Boys.

Saw the Superdome on the way out. Very cool history. Patriots first super bowl victory and of course the home to thousands during hurricane katrina.

Notes
- New catchphrase: ITAT
- We pulled off the craziest audible. Taylors acting skills and Harrys googling ability really attributed to the success. Cant talk about it here. Ask us in person if you really want to know.
- Due to said audible, Mark couldnt get a "Geaux Tigers" shirt. Hes pissed.
- car is starting to smell

Shoutouts:
- Kelsey "Koz" Koswick. Saved our asses. We love you.
- Vinayak, Trevor, Biddies (again). Good to hear from you boys. See you next week.
- Cori Semple. Congrats on your last day of your internship!
- Mikey Huntington. Keep killing it at the crater. Just like your older bro
- last minute shoutout to my mom Mandy for sending us our progress so far:

On our way to 'Bama now. Roll Tide.

Austin, Texas

So we planned on leaving for UT Austin after a night at Arizona. Taylor called an audible, and we scored (little Graceland reference). Instead of staying a night in Zona, We decided to leave at 10pm and drive throughout the night to Austin. 12 hours. Plus a few stops and changing time zones turned into a 15 hour trip.

We stocked up on energy drinks and 5 hour energys. Bad choice for Tay. 2 hours into the trip he is tweaking out while driving. Im talking shaking his head, fidgety, couldnt control it. We had to pull over in the pitch black of Arizona while he got out pumped out 30 pushups and did some jumping jacks. Never seen anything like it. Kid cant handle a little caffeine.

Before we got into Texas we were dangerously close to the Mexican border. We got stopped at border patrol and they interrogated me for not being a US citizen. Crazy stuff.
(Seeing the sunrise was pretty cool)

New Mexico smells like absolute shit. Stopped for gas and it was the grossest thing weve ever smelt.

I couldnt tell you how many bugs we splatted on the windshield on that ride. Every time we got gas we had to scrap the blood and guts off. Taylor got the biggest one.

Got some great authentic Texas BBQ from a place called Rudys. They called us rookies and did some weird chant. But the meat was delicious. Finally made it to Austin where we staying with one of Taylors friends. Took a tour of campus. Mark got his standard shirt. Snuck into the football stadium cause were badass. Went back and showered for the first time in a while. Felt great.

We started pregaming for the night and then got a ride in a pickup truck to 6th street. Im talking 8 kids in the back of a pickup. Apparently its legal in Austin. We thought it was sick. Got to 6th street which is a famous street of bars. First place we went to let us in. Taylor got a splinter in the bar. What a knock. Who does that? Pretty classic night. Mark got a dog from a street vendor. He says " it was really spicy. I was dying dude. It was good tho. Paid 5 bucks for it. "

Got some nice breakfast burritos this morning. Now on the road to LSU. Stopped at this place called Buc-ees. Unbelievable toilets. Marks thoughts on the toilet "number 1 ive ever been in. Unbelievable. You get your own room. Granite floors. They took care of you. You had your own kings throne".

Driving to Houston for lunch. And then to LSU where were staying at the Theta Chi chapter. Should be a good night.

Jesse Diamond, Dave Altier, Joe Pedley, Mark Foreman, and Biddies - good looks on the snapchat. Miss you guys.

Slow day for shoutouts so we'll give one to all our moms. See you soon.
